How does PicoWay work?
The PicoWay Resolve works differently because it uses acoustics instead of heat. It also has a much shorter pulse duration, a picosecond or one trillionth of a second. These pulses can shatter the unwanted pigmentation into much smaller particles than other lasers and also stimulates collagen production. This decreases the amount of treatments needed and decreases the discomfort during the treatment. Many patients don’t need topical numbing and can do this procedure during their lunch break.
