Lentigines

A lentigo is a sun spot, usually dark brown, most common in whites with fair skin. Sun exposure is the major cause and can appear on the body where the skin gets the most sun. Genetics also play a part in lentigines. Avoid too much sun exposure or make sure to use at least SPF 50 sunscreen and reapply every 1.5-2 hours or wear long sleeve shirts and wide rimmed hats to prevent lentigines.
